The Organising Board of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2017 (DIFF 2017) recently announced that DIFF 2017’s three finalists will light up the Han River with spectacular and unique fireworks performances and musical accompaniment in the Grand Finale, which will be held on 24 June.
Italy’s Martarello S.R.L, Australia’s Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics and the UK’s Pyrotex Firework gained the right to proceed to the DIFF 2017’s Grand Finale on 24 June
Pyrotex Firework from the UK will perform a musical show featuring pop, ballads, classical tunes and epic arrangements.
Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics from Australia will put on a ‘concert’ in the shadow of Moc Son Mountain (part of the Marble Mountain range). The team, who created an active volcano out of fireworks on the second night of the festival, will inspire the audience to dance with colourful explosions in the skies over Da Nang.
Italy’s Martarello S.R.L will begin their final performance with parts of the soundtrack from the film Eragon, Italian song “Il Canto della Terra” by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli, then “Running” by Sarah Brightman and “Nessun Dorma” by Luciano Pavarotti.

According to the festival’s director Le Quy Duong, Korean violist J. Mi Ko, Vietnamese Diva My Linh, pop singers Dang Duong and Thuy Van, and rock band Ngu Cung will take to the stage for the final night of DIFF 2017 on the Han River. The Korean violist will wow audiences with her melodies during the final competition among three teams – the UK, Italy and Australia.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2017 (DIFF 2017) has gone through 4 matches of the qualifying round, with 8 competing teams comprising Sugyp SA from Switzerland, Da Nang - Viet Nam, Fireevent Die Feuerwerker from Austria, Dancing Fireworks Group from China, Pyrotex Firework from the UK, Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics from Australia, and Martarello S.R.L from Italy.

The DIFF 2017’s Grand Finale, themed “Wood”, will be held on 24 June, 2017. The winner will be awarded with the DIFF 2017 Champion Cup and the prize of US$10,000. The second and the third teams will receive prizes valued US$5,000 and US$3,000, respectively.
