The collaboration also represents an initial step towards the creation of a green and smart city by 2025.
Addressing the event, Chairman Huynh Duc Tho said that, in the current context of rapidly changing world technology, it is high time for Da Nang to accelerate its smart city building process.
At present, the inevitable trend in international urban management is to use artificial intelligence, big data, block chain. If Da Nang fails to meet these requirements, it will be quickly left further behind.
The city leader underlined a must for VNPT to develop a roadmap for building a smart city in the most reasonable manner. In particular, the solutions must be implemented in a synchronised manner, with a focus on training managerial staff to maximise the productivity.
